Hi there. I’m Amal Zen, and I love crafting light and shadow into something lasting.
From motion graphics and animations to live action films, I specialise in elevating concepts to impactful visuals. I draw, write, design, direct, edit and shoot, and deeply fascinated with the themes of technology, speculative fiction and childlike wonder.
I like to utilize my technical skills and expertise in handling equipment to achieve the creation of expressive narratives. From a docu-fiction decoding noise-pollution through parallel reality to a 360 VR film exploring surveillance, from book illustration to imaginative interpretations of client briefs, my portfolio showcases the range and depth of my work.
